SanFrancisco EarthquakeOne of my first memories of searching the American Memory Collections is discovering a film of the San Francisco earthquake in the Library of Congress Early Motion Pictures Collection. I was amazed the short film existed.

Not too long ago I viewed the film while examining a future Library of Congress Teacher’s Page Build & Deliver Professional Development Activity.  This time I looked closely at the bibliographic record!  With new knowledge I  wasn’t  fooled by the short trick.
